The whole gym.
One board.
Most gym software manages one department well and leaves you to reconcile the rest. Studio holds the timetable, the memberships, the payments, the staff rota and the training itself in a single record — so the question stops being "what happened in each area" and becomes "which area is moving the others."
Nothing in a gym
happens on its own.
A quiet Tuesday class is not a timetable problem. It is a staffing cost, a retention signal and a revenue forecast wearing a timetable's clothes. Studio is built so you can follow that thread instead of finding each end of it in a different tool.
A member stops attending. Here is the same fact, read by each part of the business:
In four separate systems this is four unrelated rows that nobody joins up until quarter end. In Studio it is one member, one record, four views.
The facets, and how
they meet.
Two slots are structurally quiet and one is turning people away. That is a timetable decision the room can't tell you and a spreadsheet won't volunteer.
- Timetable & classes. Build the week once as a real series, take bookings against it, and tick people off at the desk. Fill rate and show rate become measured numbers.
- Memberships & plans. Who is on what, at what price, renewing when. Monthly and annual plans amortised properly, one-off payments kept out of recurring revenue where they don't belong.
- Payments & invoices. What was taken, what is outstanding, what is about to lapse — traced to the membership it belongs to.
- Staff & payroll. Sessions delivered per trainer, drawn from the sessions they actually logged in Coach, priced at the rate you set.
- Members & retention. Who is drifting, who is thriving, who has quietly not been in for a month — surfaced while it can still be changed.
Some jobs need
a proper screen.
Studio runs on the phone for the floor and on the web for the office. Reconciling a month, restructuring a timetable, or reading a year of revenue is work for a keyboard and a wide table — so the web console exists for exactly that, on the same account and the same data.
- Wide tables that sort and export — the roster, the money, the timetable, in a form you can actually work through.
- Same figures, same rules — the web console calls the identical functions the phone does, through the identical row-level permissions. There is no second version of the truth.
A forecast is only worth
the record beneath it.
Studio can look ahead — which memberships are likely to lapse, where next month's revenue lands, which slot to move and what it is probably worth. But every projection is built on your gym's own history, it tells you what it is reading, and it declines to produce one at all when there isn't enough recorded to stand on.
A confident number from a thin record is the most expensive thing a business tool can hand you. You get the dash instead, and what to record to remove it.
Each row says what is missing and how to fix it — so the forecast improves because your record improved, not because the model got louder.
