Delete your account
Updated 25 August 2026
This page covers the three apps published by Washateria LLC — Repple, Repple Coach and Repple Studio. They share one account and one database. Deleting the account deletes it in all three; there is no way to leave one and keep another.
The short version. Ask in the app, or email us from the address on the account. Your account is removed from sign-in and the records that are yours go with it. A short list of gym business records survives with you detached from them — the row stays, the link to you is emptied, and it no longer names you. Requests are actioned within 30 days and can be withdrawn until they are. Nothing happens on a timer, though, so email as well as tapping the button.
How to request deletion
In the app
- Open Repple and sign in.
- Go to the Me tab.
- Tap Settings.
- Under Your data, tap Delete my account.
- Confirm with Request deletion. You are signed out immediately.
That button is in the member app. Repple Coach and Repple Studio do not carry it yet, so coaches and gym owners should use email instead. It is the same account and the same outcome.
By email
- Write to support@repplefitness.com from the email address on the account. A request from any other address is refused, because we have no way to tell it is you.
- Use the subject Delete my account.
- Tell us which app you use. It does not change what gets deleted — it helps us find the right account.
You do not have to give a reason, and we will not ask for one.
support@repplefitness.comWhat happens after you ask
- The request is recorded against your account and the account is flagged.
- It is actioned within 30 days.
- Until it is actioned you can withdraw it. In the app, sign in and open Me → Settings → Your data, where a pending request is shown with the day you made it and a Withdraw my deletion request button. Or email support@repplefitness.com from the same address and say so. That is the grace period, and it ends when the deletion runs.
- Asking a second time does not restart the clock, and does not shorten it either. The first request is the one that counts, and its date is the one we work to. Withdrawing and then asking again does start a fresh 30 days, because that is a new request.
- Once it has run there is nothing to withdraw. Deletion is not reversible and we keep no copy to restore you from.
- Afterwards the account no longer exists at sign-in. The email address is free again — signing up with it creates a new, empty account, not your old one.
How that 30 days actually runs. Nothing deletes you on a timer. Tapping the button records the request; a person then has to carry it out, and the database only lets your gym's owner do it. The Repple Studio screen that shows an owner the requests waiting on them is new and is not in every gym’s build yet, so an in-app request can sit unseen — and if you are not a member of any gym, there is no owner to see it at all. So: email us as well as tapping the button. That request reaches us directly, does not depend on anyone else looking, and is the route we can hold to 30 days. If 30 days pass and you are still able to sign in, tell us and we will finish it.
What is deleted
Deleting the account removes it from authentication. Every table holding your records hangs off it — thirty-nine of them as the database stands today — and they go with it:
- Your identity — name, email address, profile photo.
- Training — workouts, logged sets, cardio and calorie entries, personal records.
- Body data — InBody scans and body measurements.
- Check-ins, habit logs and food logs.
- Messages with a coach. The thread belongs to the member's account, so deleting a member account removes the thread from the coach's side too.
- Coaching links and programmes — the link to your coach, and any programme assigned to you.
- Class bookings.
- Your gym membership record and any invoices issued to you. Payments the gym recorded are handled differently — see below.
- Push notification tokens, so notifications stop.
- Connected-service tokens for WHOOP, Oura, Fitbit, Garmin and Spotify. Those connections end.
Progress photos, specifically. There are none to delete, because we do not hold any. No part of Repple, Repple Coach or Repple Studio can take or upload one: the table and the private storage bucket built for the feature are both empty, and nothing writes to them. The one bucket the apps do write to holds coaches' exercise demonstration videos, which are not yours and are not personal data about you. We would rather say this than list photos as deleted, because that would be a promise about a file that does not exist. Two things follow, and we would rather you heard them now. If the feature ever ships, this page is corrected before it does. And deleting an account removes database rows, not stored files — nothing in the database reaches into file storage — so once there are images to remove, removing them is a separate job.
Apple Health is a permission held on your iPhone, not data we store a key for. Deleting the account does not touch it. Revoke it in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Repple, or by removing the app. Anything imported from Health into your training log is deleted with the log.
What is kept
A few records survive, with you detached from them. The row stays; the column that pointed at your account is emptied. After that it carries no name, no email and no profile — it is a line in a gym's books, not a record of a person. A gym has to keep financial and attendance records for tax and legal reasons, and cannot do that if removing a member erases them.
| What stays | Why |
|---|---|
| Payments a gym recorded | Money actually received. Gyms must keep it for tax and accounting. |
| Door-log visits | Attendance and capacity records the gym relies on and may be required to hold. |
| Guest passes issued or redeemed | They were paid for and have to reconcile against takings. |
| Training packages you bought | A purchase record. Kept for the same accounting reasons as a payment, with your name removed. |
| Feedback you submitted | Kept so it still counts, no longer attributed to you. |
| Crash and error reports | Diagnostics we use to fix faults. They were never tied to your name. |
Alongside these, a handful of administrative traces survive the same way — who wrote a gym announcement, who sent or accepted an invitation, which coach was named on a nutrition plan or an assigned programme. In every case the row stays and the pointer to your account is emptied, so it no longer names you.
We apply no additional retention period on top of these. They are kept for as long as the gym's own accounting and legal obligations require, and are held under the same terms as everything else in Privacy.
Take a copy first
The app will export the records held against your account as a JSON file — Me → Settings → Your data → Export my data. It covers your profile, workouts, food logs, measurements, InBody scans, check-ins, habit logs, coach messages, coach nutrition plans, assigned programmes, class bookings, referrals and feedback. It does not reach the gym-side records — membership, invoices, payments and door-log visits — so ask us if you want those too. Do it before you request deletion. Afterwards there is nothing left to export, and we cannot produce one for you.
Two things deletion does not do
- It does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Those are cancelled in your Apple or Google account, and will keep billing if you leave them running.
- It does not settle anything with a gym or a coach. Money owed, notice periods and contracts are between you and them, on their terms.
